Spring Nights.

Welp. Today was probably the worst school day I've ever had at college... and I'd tell you about that if I even had the time to really think about it. But in all honesty, I don't even have time to be posting this. Then again, who needs sleep, right? Finals and other things... hate me. For some reason, this song popped into my head today. I probably haven't listened to it for a year or so, but I really love it. The Killers cover a Dire Straits song... 

 

And it always reminds me of these delicious evenings before or after rehearsal, or even stolen lunch breaks, with my friend Maddy and I. We'd drive around in her huge green dino-van, and everyone would hurry their kids inside. It's a child-snatching van, just from the looks of it. We mostly didn't use it that way. Anyway. It reminds me of eating Sour Patch Watermelons, with the windows down on some side street, or sitting on the warm roof blasting it as we soaked up the spring sunshine. Sometimes we communicated in silence, but there was always good music, and a shoulder to lean on. I'd give anything for that today, you know? But in the mean time...
