I love General Conference. I love that I feel like it gets better every single year. I love that the messages are always so perfect for me. I love that it's the only place I can feel scolded and and totally uplifted and happy all at once. It is just, so good. I had a great weekend, but today, what's really making my day is this video. It is a must see.
Wasn't that incredibly beautiful? The Spirit in this video helped a woman come unto Christ. Hopefully you had the opportunity to see the piece between sessions on that. So moving. I am so grateful for our church, and for those with special spirits. And for missionaries, called and ordained, or just everyday members, who represent the Spirit of charity and are Christ's hands here on earth.

I'm a special education teacher...and this basically reduced me and all of my coworkers to tears!
ReplyDeleteAutumn, where do you teach?! I know, though. I did an internship my senior year at an elementary school special education class, and not a day goes by I don't think about those kids. They are seriously amazing!

My blog name is totally off of the outsiders, a play on my name, and also a reference to my favorite song (Stay gold, Ponyboy by The Get Up Kids) which is referencing The Outsiders haha. I'm glad you picked up on that, I'm not sure most people do!

ReplyDeleteand general conference was just incredible. i feel like there is always that ONE talk that stands out to me, that feels like it was directed just for me but i didn't even know i needed to hear it. magical :)
