Fresh mud on my boots, my breath in the air, a pocketful of gifts from the sixth grade, and a smile on my face. Mm. It's Friday. :)
Right now we are in the middle of the Thanksgiving lesson. Besides bobbing around with invisible wings, grabbing the saggy skin at our throats to make turkey/dying-grandma sounds (DON'T ACT LIKE YOU NEVER DID THAT), making handprint turkeys, and generally doing a lot of trying to learn to say the TH part of "sank you," we are listing things we are grateful for.
"We can lift ourselves and others as well, when we refuse to remain in the realm of negative thought and cultivate within our hearts an attitude of gratitude. If ingratitude is numbered among the serious sins, then gratitude takes its place among the noblest of virtues." (Thomas S. Monson, An Attitude of Gratitude, Ensign, May 1992, 54.)"
I am so grateful for these cuties. They make my Fridays, and my every days, HAPPY.
