Day Twenty Seven: Swiss Family Robinson and Gelato.

Yes. I am starting to count down the days left in school. Judge me. I don't care. I am so proud of myself that this will be over soon. Soon, I will be able to say, "Hey, guess what? I owned sophomore year, and I didn't let it own me." That is going to be kind of awesome, friends.

Here's the thing. I can't really tell you how school went today because I only went to first period. I know, I know! I am terrible. Don't be mad. My mama knew. And I would have stayed if I could have. Honestly. But there was just no way. I was terminally ill. Well, not terminally. Being a girl is just awesome. Anyway, I'll live. Don't even worry.

Today was a nice "ahhhhmmm" moment in a crazy week. A nice mental health day as well as a sick day. Tonight I'm babysitting. That makes me happy. I'd babysit for free, I really would. But uh, hey, the money doesn't suck either. Even though I have this embarrassingly huge envelope of tithing on my dressing I reaaaallly need to turn in, because at this point, I have more money in tithing than I do out. Hahahah. Ohhh, awesome.

This weekend should be pretty fun. It looks rainy, but it's kind of warm rainy. As long as it stays sorta warm, the sun comes and plays every two days or so, and there is NO SNOW, I am happy. I've been working on my monologues for my Advanced Audition next Tuesday. I have to get them completely where I want them by Sunday because my audition is Wednesday. Ohhh, and I have some essay of ginormical proportions due Monday. I've already done all the drafts, it's just a hassle to slap all the notes, drafts, research, etc. together into a folder (in the right order, mind you). I would so much prefer to just have a free weekend for just preparing for my audition, but hey! God gave me arms so I could juggle, right?

Oh! And my friend Joanie and I might go get some gelato tomorrow. That'd be neat. I loooove me some gelato. I'm kind of broke right now, but hey! I always have money for gelato, that's alls I'm saying.

AND HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEKEND WILL BE:
My Aunt Sheral has a clogging recital Saturday afternoon.
Oh, hey best day ever, how you doing?!?! Hawesome.

I honestly can't wait for summer. It's occupying all of my thoughts. I went on a magical hike the other day. Found a tree house. It has no ladder, but no worries. I will fashion one of rope. We're gonna fix it up real nice, and live in it for a week or so this summer.
