Also, here's a quote from work today that made me laugh for a really long time, even though they were SO NAUGHTY today!
"Hey Miss Teacher Shebby. Cookies!" - darling child pushing play-shopping cart, full of pretend-cookies.
"Oh, mmm! This is is so good." - me.
"...." (smiles so big and cheesy I can't see his eyes.)
"Where did you get them?!" -me. (we play this game a lot, and he always says Walmart.)
"The D.I." (smiles again and shuffles away)
HAHAHAHAh..... I was dying.
And also. The Shakespearean Festival's Shakespeare in Schools program came to our school and performed Macbeth today. I might've learned stage combat in a workshop afterwards. Don't mess.
Here's something they stressed: THE VICTIM IS ALWAYS IN CONTROL. Hahahaha. Maybe you had to be there. I don't know. :) There was this kid leading our workshop, and we creeped on him a lot when he was onstage, but once he was off... he was kind of old and possibly gay. Not that we couldn't be friends or anything. But I mean... we definitely couldn't be lovers.
By the way, has ANYONE else noticed that sometimes people look really attractive onstage and then... not so much... when they're offstage. Anyone? It's like some sort of. Phenomenon.
P.S. This kid gets his cookies from the D.I. And he's me. So. All right. Byyyye.
HAHA! Oh, I totally agree about the beautiful on-stage, ugly off-stage thing! It just sometimes disappoints me on many levels... haha! Oh shelby, you. are. great!
