Walking to school today, I saw this gorgeous orange rose in the flower beds outside the main building. All the other roses are red and white, but this one was doing its own thing. And it stood out. :)
And in my head, I heard the emperor from Mulan saying, "The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all."
Just a happy thought today.
